Unnatural Things I Willingly Do

Not all that long ago, while I was starting to deal with a particularly hard breakup, one of my friends told me that guys were pretty stupid in relationships since they think the answer to any problem is to break up with the girl immediately, suddenly, and without the thought of working their problems out.
Then, just a few whiles ago, on a television show, it showed the feminine irrational side. As soon as this woman finds out that her fiance slept with another woman, she kneed him in the balls, walked across the restaurant, and threw the ring at his writhing body. No questions, no chance for him to explain himself, no chance to work it out.

Just break it off immediately.

Walk out of his life.

And pray for his sake that he stays out of yours.

Because it made me realize that simply breaking it up isn't just a male principal, but all a part of human nature (and, possibly, a part of God's plan. I'll have to get that approved by Mr. Marvel and my art teacher though.... During an intellectual conversation). Blowing up is natural, forgiving
them is not. That's what's so unnatural about Christianity --we're supposed to forgive everyone for whatever they've done to you or to others, just like God does for us. And that being unnatural really relates to the whole point of being a Christian: so that you can live eternally.
Living forever definitely isn't natural.

And neither is forgiveness.
Which is why I plan to both.
All in good time, though.
All in its time.
